Youth Gaming: Summer Program

Cost: $300 per week

You and your fellow adventurers sneak into the dragon’s lair when suddenly a week of the sensational Tabletop Roleplaying Game, Dungeons & Dragons, appears! Roll for initiative, we’re taking adventurers on a weeklong storytelling adventure filled with exciting combat, storytelling, roleplay, and more! 

Each week, participants will play in an exciting adventure story where you’ll team up with a party of fellow adventurers to collaborate and solve problems and take down villains. We’re playing the Dungeons and Dragons 5E 2024 update, the classic TTRPG experience as seen on popular shows like Critical Role and Dimension 20. 

This year each week will have different story opportunities led by our Game Masters and participants. Register for every week, you don’t need to worry about repeating the same stories!

Calling all Planeswalkers, it’s time to gather your spellbooks and join us to do battle! It’s a week full of Magic the Gathering, the world’s biggest Trading Card Game (TCG). Start with a basic deck and complete challenges to expand your collection throughout the week. New and experienced players alike will expand their skills as they explore different styles of play in order to collect the cards they need to build a unique deck.  

*Feel free to bring your own MTG decks from home to play during any extra time we might have. However, you won’t use them to participate. You may not have opportunities to play with cards from home and there will be no trading of personal cards during the program.

Are you a crimnal mastermind and also a bear looking to perform the heist of the century at HoneyCon 2026? What about a skeleton on a fantasy adventure, but bits and piece of you keep falling off and getting replaced by whatever you can find around you? Did Bigfoot steal your car with your friend's birthday present inside? 

If any of these things are true (or if you wish they were), sign up for one of our new Grab-Bag TTRPG weeks! Each week, we'll play a variety of different RPG sessions with different themes, genres, and rules. Players will get chances to pick which stories they want to tell, and excercise more improv and creative freedom and fewer complicated rules and mechanics.

This year, we'll be primarily playing with games from Grant Howitt's Ten One-Page Roleplaying Games for Younger Players, but other games might come up in the rotation as well.

Every week you attend, you'll be given a new dice set and a miniature to represent your character. That's all you need to play the game, but many players also enjoy a few more items as well.

Cost: $25

Each Magic the Gathering week you attend, you'll be given cards, sleeves, and a deckbox to carry everything in. Many players also like to have a few other items, so we've put them all together in the kit.

• Dice Counters

Cost: $40

Each Grab-Bag week you attend, you'll be given all the dice you need, along with any of the more specific materials a game requires. If you want to continue the fun at home, we've bundled the following.
